Aum Namah Shivaya

Set forth on a journey of discovery, we are all pilgrims on the Planet Earth. Parvati, the Goddess of dance, daughter of the Himalayas and the consort of Shiva-Nataraja, brought the dance to the daughter of Earth. Various manifestations of the dance are found in India from the Himalayas in the north top to Kanyakumari in the south bottom. While wandering, she interacts with these sculpted myths by her devotion and offers her prayers to the Gods in the form of sacred Indian classical dances.

Forms and Designs

This film shows how design centres and weavers service centres help to encourage cottage industries.

Made in 1932, India's first talkie was Alam Ara made by ArdeshirIrani (1885-1968). This film (print not in existence) through available stills and a song presents the story of the original film -Alam Ara.

This documentary focus on Khayyam's musical journey spanning seven decades and his contribution to not only Hindi film but serials and non-film Ghazals as well.

Rangbhoomi

" Rangbhoomi " follows the film maker as he attempts to trace the contours of Dada Saheb Phalke's life in Varanasi after he withdrew, disillusioned, from the world of cinema and decided to take up theatre. While in Varanasi, Phalke wrote a semi-autobiographical play titled " Rangbhoomi " which from the core of this cinematic exploration.
