Chandrashekhar Azad

A biographical film is about Chandrashekhar Azad, India's freedom struggle martyr. Azad was born in a small Madhya Pradesh village of Bhavra in Jhabua dist. on July 23, 1906. Young Azad was terribly moved by the Britishers killing thousands of innocent Indians at Jhalianwala Baug in the Punjab. He whole heartedly plunged into the freedom struggle. He was arrested for his protests against the British rulers. A fearless comrade-in-arms of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, Azad was killed in an encounter with the Britishers at Alfred Park in Allahabad.

Central Excise

Master Mangesh Tukaram Mahaskar, a slum dweller from suburb of Bombay scored 96% marks and topped the state merit list. Blind brothers Ghanshyam and Vinod Asudani from Nagpur Division ranked 16th and 17th respectively in the 1988 SSC Examination. Miss. Asha Chandrakant Thete from Thane scored 76% marks. She was stricken with blood cancer. She died of her illness very recently.
